Beginner tips for smoking the Ganja

For those of you that don’t know anything about cannabis let me give you a brief synopsis of the basics.

There are around 6,000 different strains of marijuana and all of these strains fall into two broad categories, indica and sativa. Strong Indica’s are what people assume what all marijuana entails, a lack of energy, munchies, and just being couch ridden. But Indica’s also make users feel euphoric, happy, and relaxed. Sativa’s are in comparison are very uplifting, energetic, creative, and euphoric also. There are also hybrids of both which are listed

  • Sativa-dominant Hybrids
  • Indica-dominant Hybrids
  • 50/50 Hybrids

When I usually smoke I smoke sativa’s because I prefer having energy, having conversations, and letting my imagination run with whatever activity I am doing. I smoke indica’s when I want a chill night and don’t have any responsibilities I need to tend to. Hybrids are great when you don’t want too much of one strain. You kind of get the best of both worlds.

Now let’s get to the how to smoke weed part. I usually like to utilize bongs, small glass pipes, blunts, joints and my one hitter.  The one hitter actually looks like a cigarette which makes it easier to smoke in public. If you are in college and don’t have the money to buy a nice pipe or bong you can definitely rig a gravity bong.  Or if you are really hurting in the money department you can make a bowl out of foil. I do enjoy smoking oils and have dabbed a few times, but I mostly enjoy just smoking the regular flower. I’m just more comfortable and know my tolerance.

So once you figure out what you want to smoke and what you want to smoke out of let’s finally get high!

So back in the day when I first started smoking I remembered a helpful tip someone told me when I took my first hit.

Tip: light up the weed, slowly suck in the smoke through your mouth, and then when you’ve stopped sucking because you think you’ve have enough take another breath and inhale through your nose to pull the smoke deep into your lungs.

**make sure you have a glass of water or juice because you will probably cough**

If you do hit it hard enough where it feels like you are coughing up a lung, I would just take it slow from there. Usually you get really high after having a long coughing fit. Remember this is for beginners that have never smoked if this doesn’t work then try different variations so that you get your ending result. Practice makes perfect. This is what worked for me I’m sure other people have different techniques for newbies.

So hopefully after a few hits you’re high right now. A lot of people new to smoking can’t tell if they are high at first or don’t get high at all and act like they are. Just remember that it’s alright to try again.

If you are high good job! You did it! I hope that everyone that reads this is having a good experience. Now you can surf the web and look up weird stuff and watch weird stuff. I know that’s what I would be doing.

Another tip! If you do end up smoking too much and somehow get the “spins” and feel nauseous I recommend finding a good spot to lay down and try to sleep it off. If it’s too late and you are kind past the point of no return I would get to the bathroom as soon as possible and just throw up already.
